Summer at last (albeit between the heavy downpours)





The wild flowers are thriving in the hot sun and heavy downpours.  Is all this rain a consequence of global warming?  I can't remember such regular downpours in my younger days.

Blooming marvellous trip to Kenwood


The Rhododendrons and Azaleas were out in-force today at the gardens next to Kenwood House in Hampstead.   The bees were busy collecting pollen but I was unable to get a sharp photo of any of them on a flower.

Hay Fever


The wild flower border at Clayhall Park is in bloom - not as good as last year (IMHO) but still adds a touch of colour to my morning walk.
